MSC 2019 Open Data Forum

This page is dedicated to the 1st Canadian Meteorological Service (MSC) Open Data Forum held in Montreal, at the Centre Phi, and online across Canada on July 8, 2019. This forum preceded the 1st METEOHACK Hackathon organized by the Meteorological Service of Canada, with the assistance of Corporate Services and Finance Branch and Shared Services Canada, from July 8 to 10, 2019.

This forum consisted of general presentations on all MSC and Canadian Climate Services Centre (CCSC) open data services. A demonstration on data access (MSC GeoMet, AMQP) completed this morning session.

The second part of this forum was dedicated to external users such as private companies and government agencies who came to present their use of the MSC Datamart.

Finally, a round table closed the event allowing the community of users to interact with the experts.

The videos of the forum as well as the presentations offered are available below.
